Wedding Q & A:
Q: How much attention do you give each of your wedding clients?
A: I only shoot two weddings per month. This means that you have my undivided attention during the big day and I can concentrate on your wedding photographs immediately after the event.
Q: I would like some photographs of myself & my fiancé prior to the wedding day.
A: Pre-Wedding day / Engagement photo shoot is included in my photography package. We can visit a location of your choice for these photographs. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, and gives you a chance to see my particular style.
Q: How do we receive our photographs?
A: Your photographs can be presented in many ways. On DVD, on the Double Six website, Digital album or a traditional bound album. The choice is yours.
Q: When can we expect our photographs?
A: We know how important your photographs are and we work quickly to get them too you a soon as possible. This is why we do not shoot weddings in quick succession. Digital albums take priority and are usually ready within two weeks. DVD’s & web based viewing is also completed within a fortnight. Bound albums can take considerably longer to complete depending on the type you choose and manufacturer lead times.
Q: Can our friends view our photographs?
A: With your permission, your digital wedding album, and/or wedding photographs will be uploaded to the Double-Six website. The Bride & Groom will be given first viewing rights via secure username and password log-on. They can then give out the log-on details to their friends and family. This is ideal for people that were unable to attend the wedding or relatives who live abroad.
Q: How safe are our photographs?
A: Your digital photographs are backed up at least three times until they have been delivered to you. Your images are then backed up onto solid state drives and archived for at least five years ensuring subsequent copies can be created on request. A fee may be required for archive recovery.
Q: How would you describe your style of wedding photography?
A: I would describe my wedding photography style as documentary. I look for the small details which make your day individually special.
Q: How many photographs will you take at our wedding?
A: This depends on how long you require my services. However it is not unusual for a full days shoot to accumulate over 1000 images. Obviously not all of these images will be useful, which is why we edit and condense the images into a more manageable quantity.
Q: How long will you stay at our wedding?
A: As long as you want me too. Your schedule is usually arranged before the day. However before I leave I always check that you are happy and we have captured all of your specific pictures you requested. Only when you are completely satisfied I pack up and allow you to enjoy the rest of the celebration.
Q: Can we order prints of our wedding pictures?
A: Prints can be ordered by request via the Double-Six website. Any image can be converted to black and white if you prefer. We offer a full proofing and print service so you can view your image before you buy. Specialist framing is also available to suit your requirements we have a great relationship with a local picture framer who specialises in traditional, modern & bespoke framing services.
Q: We have viewed your pictures on the website and we are interested in making a booking. Unfortunately our budget is tight, are you able to accommodate?
A: The fact that you are considering me to photograph your special day is a privilege which is why I try and accommodate all of my clients. You can hire me for as little or as long as you wish. I will photograph any aspect of your day and price accordingly, remember you will have my full attention for as long as you require, client satisfaction is my aim.
