Hi I’m Jonathan and I thank you for browsing the “Double Six” website. I have been a keen photographer for many years and I enjoy the many different aspects of photography. A wedding shoot for example, can push stress levels to a high as the big day unfolds. It sounds funny but I like this kind of pressure, it forces me out of my comfort zone and decisions have to be made within a split second. This is in sharp contrast (pun intended) to portrait shots of family groups and couples. Here the environment is much more relaxed. I enjoy having a joke and talking to my clients as I try to fulfil the brief, using a certain amount of improvisation as and when required. Commercial and product photography is much more clear cut. I enjoy the technical aspects of this type of photography as it can test not only my camera operating abilities but also post production skills in the pursuit of the required image.
